Hi, I’m Julia.
I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, an Accredited Behavioral Finance Professional™, and the founder of Ryerson Financial.
My goal is to help you prioritize financial health amid the competing demands of life. As an advice-only financial planning firm, I focus on educating individuals and families interested in taking control of their unique financial stories. I aim to empower you to take charge of your financial plan rather than act as a gatekeeper for your investment strategy.
Outside work, I spend most of my time with my husband and three kids. We live in Houston, TX, where I enjoy reading (or listening!) to a broad array of books, staying active, and volunteering at my children’s school. I also serve as a volunteer financial coach with Savvy Ladies.
Why the name Ryerson Financial?
Ryerson is my grandmother's maiden name. My grandmother was an ambitious and accomplished woman who lived during an era when women often did not have a seat at the table in the business world. However, she never let that fact deter her. She inspired me to think bigger, try to change the world for the better, and always strive to have my voice heard. Ryerson Financial was named in honor of my grandmother.
